Remember, the Germans did not vote for genocide or even imagine where the Nazi Party would take the nation.

From 1921-29 Hitler was just the guy telling the people that they got screwed in the Treaty of Versailles. He was just the guy yelling "Germany First."

Many agreed.

He was the guy pointing at the gypsys and the Jews and telling the nation that the problem was not the people of Germany, it was these others.

They were the trouble makers.

And so we're the press.
And those smart ass fact checking intellectuals.

It was them.

Hitler was just the man who loved rallies and watching the masses adore him.

He would ramble on for hours on meth fuelled benders--yes, the Nazis gave the world meth and Hitler was given intravaneous doses often several times a day.

Paranoia anyone?

Hitler was just the guy promising that every real German citizen would have the best job, with the happiest life.

People wanted jobs and they wanted to be happy.

Hitler said everything they wanted to hear, blamed all the violence on the others.

Many, many believed.

By 1930 enough believed. Too many believed.

He had the military.
He had the heads of industry.

He isolated Germany. Made allies enemies and enemies allies.

Facism didn't happen in Germany overnight. It was a process. A breaking down of systems.

It's really not that complicated. How we got here and the things that happened to get us here may be complicated, but it doesn't take more than a kindergarten level education to understand the 'when all is said and done' reality.

If you don't think that @HillaryClinton or the people around her, many of whom were brilliant & socially conscious POC, didn't know of or understand the data you're referencing then you know nothing of HRC.

You certainly don't seem to recall the finer details of 2016 and, despite your claims to understand the particular pressures she was under, refuse to give those pressures their proper due.

In an election filled with fake news & populist hyperbole from the far right & left..

Not understanding your point. You expect that Clinton would come out on the losing end of such a comparison?

I totally disagree.

I've listened to @HillaryClinton speak passionately about race for three decades.

Race and racism were a central focus of her 2016 campaign.

She didn't speak about it just every once in awhile @amikegreen, she spoke about it every single day of the campaign.

In fact, race and criminal justice was the topic of her first policy paper for the campaign, which she presented in April 2015.

On 10/31/17, a terrorist from Uzbekistan (Khazakstan) killed 8 and injured 11 only 5 blocks from the new WTC. So if he died too, that’s 9 dead, 11 injured. In the biggest attack on NYC since 9/11.
