The mainstream has almost entirely forgotten about #bitcoin again.
In conversations with people from home, many recall the #crypto hype from a year ago, but have stopped paying attention since.
Yes, there are a lot more “decisions makers” that have gained a basic understanding of #crypto, which is great.

And the technologists & financial folks that feed off the bleeding edge continue to pay attention, invest, or build, just as happened in 2015.

#Bitcoin 200 Week Moving Average is giving tough fight. Even if you do not understand technical analysis, it’s worth learning 200 MA as last line of defence for major assets. It works in all timeframes. It’s never to the dot & can breach briefly even if the level wants to hold.

Ok, this is going to be a controversial one. I've avoided the topic for a long time, but since there are many important experts -- ppl that I truly admire -- discussing the subject, I can no longer ignore it.
1/ Since the @Bakkt announcement, the issue has gained steam, especially through the works of @CaitlinLong_ (who's a real champion of #Bitcoin and liberty btw) and her concerns on WallSt's financialization of crypto. B/c of that, FRB is now inserted frequently into debates.
2/ As a background for laymen, FRB is considered THE BIG CONTENTIOUS & UNRESOLVED DEBATE within adherents of the so-called Austrian School of Economics. Rothbardians tend to think it's fraudulent, inflationary and causes economic cycles. They are the proponents of 100% reserves.

1/ Trying to find explanations to this #bitcoin dump, e.g. are early adopters cashing out? The answer is no. The graph of cumulative bitcoin days destroyed. No significant change in slope. Maybe slightly steeper, but not much.
2/ Could it be stolen coins being sold? We’ve had a couple of large exchange hacks recently. Maybe. But the downstrend started before the hacks. So it is unlikely.
3/ Negative news? We’ve had positive news as well. So again unlikely. I don’t think this is news related at all.
