4) That is some wild revisionist BULLSHIT. The Recession was not a fucking one year thing, what the fuuuuck.
5) No, see, it started to wobble in 2007, started to teeter and collapse at the end of 2008, and then turned into a shitshow in 2009. it wasn't until 2010 that we saw anything approaching a recovery, which Obama's efforts kept hamstringing year after year.
6) And here's the thing: No one saw the recession coming in the way that it did. Any economists trying to make forecasts aren't doing their goddamn jobs.
7) The running joke in economics classes in college: "Economics is the art of explaining tomorrow why all the predictions you made yesterday went wrong today."
8) What does this mean? Your predictions are going to be wrong. You can't make accurate economic predictions. There are too many variables in play. For example: do we know how long the current tariff dick measuring will last?
9) No. Because no one making those predictions have the inside scoop on how the multiple countries are going to react, who's going to fold first, etc. For example, how will the current tariff fight with Canada go while we're negotiating nafta at the same time?
10) How will NAFTA negotiations go when apparently no one on Canada's "Elite team" was even an adult when NAFTA was negotiated in the first place?
11) No one knows. Anyone saying they know is either suffering from either a lack of information or only selecting information that will provide them the narrative they'd like.
12) In doing so, they're trying to scare you, they're trying to elicit fear as a tool to scare you into not trusting Trump or his policies. And what do we say to Fear?
