They immediately saw the problem/stopped it, opting to keep families together and monitor undoc’d immigrants instead (what Trump now refers to as “Catch & Release”).

Some of their parents are now in prison, but many were deported, leaving behind their children—often unable to contact parents or relatives.

Sessions says the purpose of this NEW policy is to deter immigrants from crossing our border. None of what has just been described occurred under Obama. The suffering of children is being used as leverage.
