What is the "operating system" for continuous improvement in your org?

By that I mean....interventions aside, who participates, how are opportunities explored/prioritized, rituals?, artifacts?, who "runs" the interventions, etc. ?

Here's what's on my mind.... (1/5)
Consider two orgs:

1) Feedback goes to managers. Managers address. Escalate if required. Managers "own" trying to fix impediments & generally protect teams

2) Team meets quarterly for large-scale retro, prioritizes areas for improvements, forms small work-groups

The reality is that there are "healthy" versions of both organizations. What is important is that they actually take it seriously. They care. There's a not-so-buggy OS on which to run "interventions".

[Thread] This is a super basic hybrid #kanban board. The basic idea is that we prioritize opportunities to tackle, pull the topmost opportunity, and then run experiments to "intervene" and generate an outcome. (1/11) #prodmgmt #kanban

One of the most common issues I see in manuscripts I edit is that the conflict isn't personal enough to the main character. They're doing their own thing, trouble ~happens~, then they have to avoid, fix, or triumph over the (impersonal) trouble.
The problem there is that the story could be happening to literally anyone. Some stories can make this sort of impersonal plot work, but most of the time, the more personal you can make the conflict the better.

I did something similar to this 5 years ago, in anticipation of EC & @theroots' Wise Up Ghost LP, on tumblr.

(You can still find all those posts if you look, although a lot of the YouTube links etc are now dead ends. It was 40 Days Of EC then, so for 2018 I'm upping it to 45.)
Mostly I will be going chronologically from the early years right up to the present, but it feels right to start out with Costello's 2002 song, "45."

1. If Imran Awan and Peter Strzok are indeed "master keys" that open the door to the vault of depravity (I think they are) then some of what is happening may actually make sense. (nothing else today does)
2. Imran Awan probably can implicate politicians and law enforcement at the highest levels. He held access to the innermost sanctum of a lot of democrats including their passwords and the entire democrat caucus server. He likely had access to Hillary's emails and server as well.
3. Hillary and Obama communicated via her private server (not conjecture, there are emails between the two)
Hillary's server was breached at least a few times (again we know this happened at least a few times although whether it was formally hacked is not known)

I've lost track of the number of independent people who have confirmed our predictions. And here we are, with a certain you-know-who, spouting #technobabble and promising that something will happen in the future that will prove him right. And the latter never happens.
I never thought I'd say this, but "kudos to rBitcoin, for detecting the cancer and cutting him off." They did it with their centralized censorship. Time will tell if BCH can do the same, without censorship.
The guy may or may not have keys to Satoshi coins. Whether or not he'll be able to access keys and pay his supporters back is a business issue at this point. The actual con is on the community, having convinced the gullible that his words have technical merit.
