Everywhere you turn there’s a headline about White elected officials instituting heinously racist/sexist/ignorant policy or White ordinary citizens either accosting or unleashing the fascist police on people of color but the Whiteness™️ tone police don’t want us to discuss it.
Seriously, when is it ever gonna be the right time to indict White American culture for the atrocious outcomes of its voting habits and media consumption? They’re already at the concentration camp stage of this Trump shit show but folk are still too afraid to call it what it is.
We are witnessing the most egregious display of corruption, incompetence, ignorance and hatred in American “leadership” the world has ever seen and it was all made possible by *White* Nationalism. Denying it doesn’t change or stop it.
Some of y’all are too invested in the self serving fantasy of unconditional White innocence and benevolence to help the rest of us put an end to this nightmare. Why is America even here right now if this isn’t who/what it’s become in response to demographic change? Why lie?
Brexit happened for the exact same reason but folk are still doing everything they can to deflect and obfuscate the issue. Either you belong to the reality based community and can accept basic facts or you’re an agent of the cult of White supremacy. Choose already.
