The kind of treatment meted out to the inmates is pathetic & inhuman. There are around 3000 inmates in Kilpauk Mental Hospital, out of which 500 are completely cured of their illness. There are not out of the hospital because there are no takers for them, they have been abandoned

When some one wants to help the inmates in Kilpauk Mental Hospital, the authorities don't allow. Even mentally challenged persons are humans.
Every evening by 6 pm British era iron gates are closed and the inmates arrested, once the gates are closed it is suffocating inside

In chennai humid climate imagine being locked in air tight rooms behind steel gates, every evening when the gates are closed you will see patients beg , cry & fall at the feet of the wardens not to close the steel doors. But no one cares for their plight. @narendramodi

Several inmates are always tied to steel chains 24 x 7 , you will see them beg, plead, cry & crawl to remove their steel chains tied around their limbs. Even birds are allowed to fly freely , why can't these humans be treated humanly ? Are we demons to treat them like that. ?

The inmates do most of the work like cooking, washing, gardening , cleaning , when they are mentally fit to handle sharp tools why can't they be treated humanly ? The wardens inside are virtually thugs , if any inmate dosent obey their orders or does a small mistake they are ..

Beaten black & blue. No journalist or media are allowed inside Kilpauk Mental Hospital. Instead of being treated this way , one of the inmates was pleading for mercy killing. Some inmates are there for over 10 years & have not spoken a word.

Ji @narendramodi request you to kindly send a central team into Kilpauk Mental Hospital & find out the actual state of affairs inside it. Kindly save these souls from treachery & enslavement. Let's treat them humanly
