In some non-Strzok news, a little update on the Senate Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation:
- They seem* to be closing in on the end of interviews. @SenatorBurr, the chairman, tells me they have “a handful” left. "I can’t give you a number but it’s not that many."

*Keep in mind they could always add more witnesses to the list. It could still be a little while.
- On timing of the probe, Burr says: “I’d like to be in a position where we’re wrapped up with the investigation in September; I just can’t tell you how long the report takes.”
- This is pretty consistent with what he’s said before & could be ambitious.
