Allow me to walk you through some oddness with Ken Bensinger, Fusion GPS and Orbis Business Intelligence.
Ken Bensinger, BuzzFeed news reporter, published the article "These Reporters Allege Trump Has Deep Ties To Russia" with Miriam Elder and Mark Schoofs on January 10, 2017. Steele's dossier was published.

Bensinger has had a good career.

* BuzzFeed, Reporter, Jan 2004 - Present
* Los Angeles Times, Reporter, Oct 2007 - Dec 2013
* Wall Street Journal, Staff Writer for Smart Money, Jul 2005 - Oct 2007
* Variety, Mexico Correspondent, 2002 - 2004
* Wall Street Journal, 1997 - 2000
As I noted, upon reading "Red Card: FIFA and the Fall of the Most Powerful Men In Sports" by Ken Bensinger, he thanked Jason Felch of Fusion GPS in his acknowledgements. Bensinger also spoke of FTI Consulting as part of the FIFA investigation.

Jason Felch is a partner of Fusion GPS, having joined the organisation in April 2014, based - apparently - Los Angeles, CA.

Before that though, he worked at the Los Angeles Times from June 2004 to February 2014.

The exact same time as Ken Bensinger.
I have done threads on Orbis Business Intelligence...

... and I have done threads on Fusion GPS.

In the Orbis Business Intelligence thread, I note that Tatianna Duran may work at the organisation.

Upon looking back, I noted that she also worked at FTI Consulting from November 2014 to January 2015. A few months, sure, but the history is there.

What I also did not know was that Jason Felch was actually fired from his position at The Los Angeles Times in March 2014 for getting information wrong about Occidental College AND having an "inappropriate relationship" with a source for his article.

Funny how The Los Angeles Times fired Felch, who would then become a partner of Fusion GPS, for an inappropriate relationship with a source, only for BuzzFeed and The New York Times to jump in front of as many bullets as possible to protect Ali Watkins.

FTI Consulting, as a reminder, was mentioned in author of the dossier article Ken Bensinger's "Red Card".

FTI Consulting was hired by BuzzFeed in February 2018 to verify the dossier.

They hired Anthony Ferrante.

This is neither here nor there, but Miriam Elder has been stationed in Moscow for reporting purposes while she was at The Guardian from at least 2011 - 2013.

Miriam Elder also attended the Valdai Discussion Club back in November 2011, apparently for dinner with Vladimir Putin.
Because of Miriam Elder's work in Moscow for The Guardian, she worked with Luke Harding.

In fact, Luke Harding was the Moscow Bureau Chief.

As a reminder, Luke Harding of The Guardian was one of the many journalists who met with Christopher Steele in December 2016.

Luke Harding of The Guardian also attended the Cambridge Intelligence Seminar on April 28, 2017 (although, as noted, Stefan Halper was no longer a part of it at the time).

Luke Harding was also one of the authors of the article "British spies were first to spot Trump team's links with Russia".

Also of note, back in 2015, the Logan Symposium occurred. It was attended by Thomas Catan, Jason Felch and Glenn Simpson - the three people in charge of Fusion GPS.

If you look closely, you will see that Mark Schoofs attended the Logan Symposium of 2015 as well, at the same time as every partner of Fusion GPS.

If only I could explain why I have a distrust of the media.
Oh, and FTI Consulting has connections to Mark Malloch-Brown, who is on the Open Society Foundations board, but that's neither here nor there.

This is the part which details Mark Malloch-Brown as a global board member for the Open Society Foundations.

This is the whole thread on Mark Malloch-Brown.

The end.
