The @FBI almost certainly LIED to the FISA Court by saying it had verified the Steele dossier allegations in its application to spy on @carterwpage

It hadn't carried out verification at the time (Oct 2016) and still hasn't (as of July 2018)

From application to spy on @carterwpage: "the FBI has reviewed this verified application for accuracy in accordance with its April 5 2001 procedures"

Those are "Woods Procedures", reportedly requiring verification of all sources AND SUB-sources

Throughout the FISA application, the FBI only try and vouch for the prior credibility of Christopher Steele himself, NOT any of his sources or sub-sources

FBI did not know the names of Steele's sources on Page AND HAD NOT VERIFIED THEIR INFO when this FISA warrant was filed

STRZOK's boss BILL PRIESTAP admitted under oath to Congress that verification of the Steele dossier was only in its "infancy" at the time of the October 2016 Page FISA application (from @DevinNunes memo)

Problems for @Comey, he signed the 1st @carterwpage FISA application

Problems for @SallyQYates, she also signed the 1st @carterwpage application

Woods Procedures: They've never been publicly disclosed in full but have been described in the press

N.B. SALLY MOYER is "FBI Attorney 1" in the @JusticeOIG report into the Clinton email investigation*. Along with LISA PAGE and PETER STRZOK, she helped to remove "gross negligence" from the @Comey exoneration statement of CLINTON

*She's not Agent 5 as some initially speculated

N.B.2 SALLY MOYER was the recipient of the "Viva le resistance" message from FBI Attorney 2 (Kevin Clinesmith)
