Trump just congratulated Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte on his great election victory. Only problem, Conte wasn't elected. Oops.
Trump complains press coverage of his performance on international stage has been "so unfair." G-7 was a "great success" (Fact: he walked out mad and attacked Canada & Trudeau). Also said "NATO was going out of business" before me. (Fact: No, it was not.) No mention of Helsinki.
Trump: Sanctions on Russia will remain as-is.

Interesting, as there are moves in Congress for additional sanctions.

My favorite part so far (paraphrasing): OK, so Manafort shared [presidential polling data] with Kilimnik. But why assume he lied when he failed to tell Mueller? He just forgot! He was so busy! After all, he was running a US presidential campaign. He can't remember EVerything. lol
Not only is NO COLLUSION a big lie. There’s so damn much collusion, it’s more like TREASON. We learned today 1) Manafort met Russian agent Kilimnik in Madrid during campaign, 2) Paulie shared polling data w/ him, & 3) They discussed “Ukrainian peace plan.” While Russia attacked.

1) Earlier this evening the newly-appointed Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, (a previously unknown law professor who reportedly had 'massaged' aspects of his CV) returned the mandate to form a Government to the President of the Republic. He gave up.
2) In Italy's political system the President appoints the Government on the advice of the Prime Minister. The law professor PM was a compromise candidate because the shaky coalition of Five Star and League couldn't agree which of them should be in charge.
