One person will, from 2012 when the bet was made. I bet it would be Amazon, they bet it would be anyone else. However, it's not quite there yet - still at $960bn. There's no cup of tea until the lady sings ->
If memory serves me correct, when the cup of tea bet was made (based upon a "prediction" I made in 2010 that Amazon would be first) ... Apple was about $400bn+ and Amazon was around $100bn. I think Cook has done a remarkable job with Apple. Still, the bets not over yet.
Ok, looks like Apple has passed that $207 mark - well done Apple - money.cnn.com/2018/08/02/inv… ... cup of tea lost. Phew.
Hopefully Cook will get more of the praise he deserves. He has done a remarkable job at Apple.
X : What's remarkable about Cook's performance?
Me : He has added a good decade or more to that company through supply chain management and has held back to some extent on the scale of the buybacks. He has made the business more stable than it was.
