prosecuting war criminals? pedestrian. i want to find anyone still alive who's responsible for this kind of atrocity and hang them publicly, and if they're all dead, confiscate their families property 
heads up: the first one's fake :) but the second one is real and I've seen hundreds of other verified ones. the fact these were so common is why I couldn't tell the first one was fake. people actually ran ads that said this shit.
"coca cola had cocaine in it!!!" okay well snopes.com/fact-check/coc… snopes says it was using *coca leave extract* which is not the same as "cocaine" but either way by 1908 it basically wasn't anymore. coke still sold it as an "elixir". they knew it did nothing.
1933. "scientists," horseshit. coke is sugar and caffeine and they knew that then. the degree of outright lies in advertising dropped like a rock after the 50s.
i'm just saying if you based an entire multi century product line and billions in profit on decades and decades of lies maybe you should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity
i think pumping innumerable people full of misinformation about *any* topic on a scale that lets you become a monopoly based completely on how many people believed those lies makes you a monster too
anyway never let me look at early 20th century advertising
