Prevention
1) By Early Vaccination against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), best before sexual exposure. Ages 9-26👌.
Vaccinate your girl child. Dear young women you too.

Note: Boys also benefit from HPV vaccination as it prevents them from Genital warts and Penile Cancer

2) Screening. Cervical Screening for the sexually exposed.
-Pap Smear: takes 3 mins
- VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) takes only 1 min
-HPV testing to make sure the strains are not in you already.

Risk Factors
1) Human Papilloma Virus: An STI Esp strain 16 and 18 Implicated in CA Cervix.
2) Having Multiple Sexual partners or a Partner with Multiple Sexual Partners.
3) Unprotected Sexual Intercourse
4) Early onset of Mekwe
5)Family Hx of Maternal CA
6) Smoking

Protective Factor:
1) Nulliparity. Virginity.
2) Early detection which is key to survival.

Precancer stages can be treated via Cryotherapy, immediately.

Early Cancer Stages can also be treated surgically and with Chemotherapy.

Signs and symptoms:
Bloody and smelly Vaginal discharge
Bleeding and or pain during sexual intercourse
Lower back pain
Loss of weight
Pelvic and abdominal pain
