FBI Assistant Director in charge William Sweeney also in the room. Michael Cohen and his defense team yet to arrive.

Pauley is on the bench. AUSA Andrea Griswold confirms we’re here for a waiver of indictment. An information will be filed and Cohen will enter guilty plea.

Plea agreement is regarding 8 counts.

Cohen says he had a glass of Glenlivet 12 on the rocks last night. He’s sober now tho and says he knows what’s he’s doing.

Count 6 false statement to financial institution Feb 2015-April 2016
Count 7 willful cause of unlawful corporate contribution June 2016-Oct. 2016
Count 8 excessive campaign contribution on Oct. 27, 2016

Max sentence he faces on all counts is 65 years. As judge details the penalties Cohen shakes his head some more.

Cohen admits to working “at direction of the candidate” Trump and national enquirer to silence Karen McDougal. He also admits to Stormy Daniels payment that he made “with and at direction of the same candidate.”

Cohen will be walking out today on $500,000 bond.

And no mention of a cooperation agreement so far.

Sentencing set for December 12. It’s over.
