After responding to a Charlie Kirk tweet, my mentions are now a flood of fact-free memes and photoshopped images. One woman simply responded with a link to the GOP's Wikipedia page for some reason.

But this response -- part of an endless ill-informed thread -- is my favorite.
Wait, wait, this guy might be my new favorite.

His avatar and name come from an anti-Semitic Russian conspiracy theorist, plus there's an anti-Semitic, racist cartoon in his banner. And he's telling me the Real Racists are Democrats.

Weird. Maybe he means that as a compliment?
Oh my God, I thought D'Souza attracted some nuts, but Kirk's fanbase is *amazing*

Here’s a thought experiment:

Imagine if Obama hadn’t gotten the Affordable Care Act passed in 2010, even with Democrats in full control of Congress.

Imagine if Obama then made the ACA the central focus in the midterms, but Dems lost 40 seats and control of the House anyway.
Then imagine he demanded billions to fund it anyway, even though Congress and voters had just rejected the idea.

Imagine if Obama then shut down the government when Boehner and the Tea Party Republicans refused to fund it too.
Now imagine that, weeks into a government shutdown of his own making, Obama then said he was thinking about declaring a national emergency to fund it anyway, and that as president he had the right to do that whenever Congress refused to do what he wanted.

As a warm-up for my #Mickey90 megathread starting 11/18, I'm gonna watch as many of Disney's Oswald The Lucky Rabbit cartoons as I can get access to, since OTLR is basically Mickey Mouse 1.0

I own this dvd collection from 2007 which I was SO excited to own but I still haven't gotten around to watching, over a decade later! This twitter thread will be my excuse to finally watch these films.
