For two feckin years UK position has been “we want to have our cake and eat it” and the EU’s response is “bitch, please”. This has not changed one iota. We still persist in submitting permutations of it and blaming the EU for being inflexible, while we’ve shown zero flexibility.
But how can we show flexibility when our idiot of a PM set her “red lines” at the start of the process as “by the end we will definitely have all our cake” and then proceeded for two years to ask if there was a clever way to nibble bits of it? It ain’t Schrödinger’s F’kin Sponge.
