Millions of Europeans used our summertime consultation to make their voices heard, and 84% do not want the clocks to change anymore.
We will now prepare a proposal to the @Europarl_EN and @EUCouncil, who will then decide together.

We received 4.6 million responses from all 28 Member States, the highest number received in any of our public consultations.
According to preliminary results, 84% of respondents are in favour of putting an end to the bi-annual clock change→ europa.eu/!xM63gu #EUHaveYourSay
These first results indicate 76% of respondents consider that changing the clock twice a year is a 'very negative' or 'negative' experience.
Considerations: negative health impacts, increase of road accidents or the lack of energy savings

I was troubled at @EmilyThornberry’s remark at a recent @Fabians event that ‘women have space to budge up for transwomen in our spaces’ in response to my question about @UKLabour allowing self-ID women on their AWS. It came after a great speech in which Thornberry (1)
spoke at length about the male domination of politics and female MPs fighting to be both seen and heard against a tidal wave of abuse. I was amazed that she contradicted herself like that. Women don’t have room to ‘budge up’. (2)

2. On Sunday I listed the 15 lower house MPs I believe most likely to be headed out the door because they’re dual citizens. I could add about ten more, the tap never stops running, but for now this thread reviews the cases of one category of MP.
3. Either now, or later, you’ll ask yourself “who is this cassowary and how did he find out all this stuff?” Easy: I looked. I’ve spent nearly 100 hours on this. Also, I’m pretty good at patterns and analysis. I used to work as a journalist and in humanitarian relief.
