well it looks like I have encountered another bug where if you recruit sigrun last then you are unable to initiate her joining the grey wardens. damn!!! oh well I guess!!!!

I don't like that this helmet covers pickle's face but I need it for set bonus. although if you look closely you can still see her freaking eyes through the visor

when you first recruit justice he hates being stuck in a dead body but I think he gets used to it because now he is trying to relate with sigrun over it

having played inquisition already (but not daii) i can’t help but compare what I’m seeing now on this revisit of origins against what I know is coming for the series in the future. I do enjoy the first games but recognizing everything that gets improved later makes me glad lol

basically everything that bugs me while I play origins/awakening is something that gets improved or fixed in or before inquisition

all the women are designed like clone-stamped porny barbies? improved in inquisition. sparse, greyish environments? fixed in inquisition. gratuitous grossout monsters? none of thems in inquisition. everything looks, frankly, kind of stinky and bloody? not so in inquisition!

leliana is boring? way better in inquisition. weird rapey sex magic? no more of that, thank god. no black people anywhere?? well. I mean inquisition has One. still lots of room to grow into that one (you can do it bioware)

anyway moving on. time to beat this thing

so grey wardens drink darkspawn blood and if they survive it means they can resist being tainted. then if darkspawn drink resistant grey warden blood then the darkspawn becomes emancipated from its mindless blighted nature ok

so this one, the architect, wants to free the darkspawn, so he’s asking if we can come to an arrangement, but like..... how much blood would he need???

so hes been freeing some of them on his own and one of them I guess was this new broodmother who is now opposing him because... I don’t know the explanation for that yet
