One of the biggest disappointments was that there was ZERO mention of Sam/Reyes, which I know wasn't super surprising (considering what happened in Rise) but some articles kinda hinted at a reunion so I did think it would happen

I guess bc this was supposed to be the ending of her origin story, I did hope that there would be some kind of closure with her relationship to Sam, which there wasn't.

Also for some reason I did REALLY hope Matthias wasn't actually dead & ended up being the leader of Trinity or something lmao but that didn't happen (he is actually dead...awh)

My favorite part of the game by far was probably the scene where young Lara solves the White Queen riddle in Croft Mansion. That was just so adorable & nostalgic and I. JUST. WANTED. MORE. (DLC anyone?!)

Also Jonah (kinda sorta) getting together with that woman was just BEYOND ADORABLE. I'm so happy he's getting his peace of happiness and is moving on from his pain.

When I thought Jonah had actually died in that scene where Lara goes to save him, my heart just fucking STOPPED. I was so damn relieved when it turned out that he wasn't dead. Omg please don't ever do that to my heart again.
I did wish the game would have gone a lot more into detail with Lara coping with how many people she has had to kill and her PTSD. There was one scene which kind of hinted at her thoughts but it wasn't long - another minor disappointment
