Tonight I'm @UKIP's "Brexit SOS" event in Chelmsford. It's standing room only as the crowd waits for a talk from former @Conservatives MP for Peterborough Stewart Jackson 
.@oflynnmep who's hosting the event delivers his assessment of #Essex @Conservatives MPs on Brexit. He praises @JWhittingdale, @JamesDuddridge who he says "put his head above the parapet last week" & @patel4witham who he describes as "passionate about delivering Brexit".
But @oflynnmep is scathing about @Conservatives Party Deputy Leader @JamesCleverly: "I wasn't happy with what he had to say at Tory Party Conference" and Castle Point MP @RebeccaHarrisMP "I thought she was pro Brexit but we haven't heard a peep from her".
.@oflynnmep tells audience he believes UK will "technically" leave EU, which is significant because then "remainers" will become "rejoiners" and that's not a great prospect to sell to majority of people who want Brexit to be over.
But he says @theresa_may is "delivering technical Brexit - but the spirit of what was in offer has been jettisoned".
Stewart Jackson the former Conservative MP for P'boro who also served as Deputy to former Brexit Secretary David Davis tells audience: "What we saw at Chequers was a constitutional coup. It was a coup by unaccountable europhile civil servants."
Mr Jackson warns that if the government "does not deliver the Brexit people voted for...the belief in representative democracy will be destroyed." He adds "that could see people abstaining from elections and taking part in violence. It's possible."
We're now onto Q&A. A lady asks "If Brexit is betrayed - are there any Conservative MPs who will quit & join UKIP?" Stewart Jackson says "No. Because UKIP is still so low in polls". But he says if Conservatives don't honour Brexit they'll be punished severely at next election.
Another Q: "Who would you want to replace Theresa May if there's a leadership election. @oflynnmep says if it's before Brexit, he'd back Boris. But in a post-Brexit world he says he's back @PennyMordaunt who he believes could garner more widespread support.
Stewart Jackson gives interesting answer in his assessment of TM: "We could do better. I had faith & trust in TM. But she wasn't fully candid with me & David Davis about Chequers. I think the rest of the @Conservatives party will come to the same conclusion within a year."
Stewart Jackson describes Chequers as Black Knight from Monty Python "its mortally wounded, but no one has told Theresa May it's dead yet. He calls Phillip Hammond an "atmosphere vacuum" and says Theresa May "has the charisma of an ironing board".
