The American people should look at what Republicans are doing, rather than what they’re saying, when it comes to health care.

Today, the administration plainly admitted its intention is to use taxpayer dollars to fund junk insurance plans that don’t cover pre-existing conditions, which could lead to medical bankruptcy for many American families in order to pad the pockets of health insurance executives.
Today is yet another step in the GOP’s effort to tear down our health care system, leading to higher health care costs for millions of families, particularly those with pre-existing conditions.
No amount of revisionism or protestations to the contrary can cover up the fact that Republicans are putting the health insurance companies first and leaving American families out to dry.
