(10) There's an infinite number of ways to die while trying to illegally cross into the US. OF COURSE I have no sympathy for lawlessness causing death but haven't I told you, at length, that innocent children are being exploited in this?

(11) I made sure to include pix of the scene showing most are walking, some are climbing onto vehicles, but they're not reaching the next town much faster than the rest. They know the Catholic church & other socialists have the tents, food & water ready 20 miles away.

(14) It's uncanny, my comment about the US military providing a physical barrier if the caravan manages to stay together long enough to get to the border... was spot-on. The President just mentioned it at his Houston rally. Said he's been speaking with the Texas governor & team.
(15) Hurricane #Willa is strengthening but it won't affect the areas anywhere near the caravan. It will do a lot of damage to the NW of Mexico, which will place huge pressure on their military & civilian resources, drawing them away from the far South, where the caravan is.
(16) As I predicted, on Day 3 the main caravan moved from Tapachula to Huixtla, a distance of roughly 20 miles. Likely the same distance each day, which is walkable. It would take at least 10 weeks to reach the US border IF nothing changes. Vehicles don't help much.
(17) I don't like having to cover these caravans bc I'm forced to see squalid conditions with trash strewn everywhere, people sleeping on the ground, distressed babies, and so on. They've already had one person die after falling from a vehicle. It's revolting to watch it all.

It appears that iso continuing on another 20 miles on Day 4, they're "resting" in Huixtla. Even with vehicles, I do not see them being able to get as far as the US border with more than a few hundred people, who might be drawn from that area anyway.

(22) Hurricane #Willa made landfall as a Cat 3 hurricane and is rapidly decreasing in strength as it hits the mountains. Heavy rain is likely to cause major problems locally. The current location of the caravan is more than 1,000 miles away.

(23) The caravan stayed a second night in Huixtla in order to leave for Matastepec before dawn, bc of the heat. The distance is 35 miles. Vehicles help some of them but there's no point overshooting the town where supplies are set up.
(24) This group of about 30 mothers demonstrating today in Talisman, MX, on the border with GT, is an annual demo about their sons & daughters who disappeared while trying to illegally migrate North.
