On numerous times, I hv read & thought about sanctions against ZW by th USA. I'm still not clear why th Gvt can't act on th conditions

Isn't true that th political class is cushioned from th effects of sanctions at personal & even institutional levels?

Are we agreed that th sanctions won’t be lifted by lobbying & recruiting popular voices against them?

Do U recall that Mugabe made sanctions an endless issue 4 SADC, th AU & UN but they weren't lifted?

Do U recall that Mugabe collected signatures & had them delivered 2 lobbyists 2 no avail? In th course of doing that, this made some people 2 commit crimes under th American legal system while it enriched some of those who were lobbyists.
