1/ The people of the UK voted; but what did they vote for? Did they vote for a 🇨🇭Swiss style brexit or a Canada type brexit? 🇨🇦 
2/ we don't know. We know some people in the UK would prefer a closer relationship with the EU, Euro and all. We know some people want a hard brexit, with no deal with the EU at all. But the vote itself was not exactly decisive:
3/ Since the vote, all sorts of demons have been released from their box - anger, bitterness, rage.
4/ and this rage has been evident from both sides. For every "we won, get over it losers!" There has been a glee at the fact that older voters are dying out. Horrible sentiments.
5/ in order to get through, all sensible folk must hope that parliamentarians have the wisdom of Solomon. Let us remember Solomon's judgement:
6/ in his wisdom, Solomon realised that the best solution had to be (in modern parlance) 'outside the box' thinking.
7/ Solomon realised that the decision was huge and that anything he said could be perceived as wrong.
8/ if Parliamentarians want to recreate this wisdom they should have the courage to adopt a solution based on efta/EEA. Some people will be glad, others upset. But the Majority can live with it. rand.org/news/press/201…
9/ once we have 'brexited' the country can move on and reunite. We can address key issues affecting the UK - inequality, problems with transport and jobs etc.
