On the day Trump said from the Rose Garden he was 100% willing to sit with Mueller under oath, almost every attorney and layperson who'd been following his career—both political and business—said he'd *never* sit down with Mueller, and US media remained credulous for *18 months*.
2/ Had media called Trump on his false claim of willingness to sit with Mueller under oath in *summer '17*, it might've pressured him to act on his words in *summer '17*. Instead we got repeated reports—that turned out to be from Trump's legal team—that Mueller was "almost done."
3/ When this is over, the ratio of those who called out this man's criminality from Day 1 to those who'll *claim* they held him accountable from the beginning will be 1:100. His deceit, venality, and treachery was publicly evident as a matter of *fact*—not opinion—from the start.
