Actually, no.
Hindus believe any person has the potential for Mukti (Liberation), irrespective of birth or creed.
But also that most people will perish in endless circles of misery.
Finding Adharma is easy. Finding Dharma is hard.
In fact, it is considered an illusion to think one will be saved without going through the intense questioning on one’s existence.
Of course, if you say that, you threaten the very foundations of “religions”. But “faith” is Adharma and its propagation is even more Adharma.
People can still find Dharma, but for that, they should develop the capacity for questioning.
If such “compassion” doesn’t lead to the latter, but only in a smug feeling of superiority, then it is useless. Even harmful.
It is appalling to see how many people in the world believe they have the power to fix other people’s problems. Paving road to hell with good intentions.
