Does Hindus believe all religions are true?

Actually, no.

Hindus believe any person has the potential for Mukti (Liberation), irrespective of birth or creed.

But also that most people will perish in endless circles of misery.

Finding Adharma is easy. Finding Dharma is hard.
Basically, Hindus *do not* respect other religions, and the other religions know this too. It is high time Hindus stop pretending to the contrary.

In fact, it is considered an illusion to think one will be saved without going through the intense questioning on one’s existence.
So there is no good news. Only fake news.

Of course, if you say that, you threaten the very foundations of “religions”. But “faith” is Adharma and its propagation is even more Adharma.

People can still find Dharma, but for that, they should develop the capacity for questioning.
One needs to cultivate a capacity for compassion, to empathize with the pain of others. But only because that pain is also part of one’s own existence.

If such “compassion” doesn’t lead to the latter, but only in a smug feeling of superiority, then it is useless. Even harmful.
If I have to pick whether compassion or self-reflection is the more important attribute, I will definitely pick the latter.

It is appalling to see how many people in the world believe they have the power to fix other people’s problems. Paving road to hell with good intentions.
