The Post confirms: "The Detroit-based automaker said it would not be allocating any production to plants in Oshawa Assembly in Ontario, Lordstown Assembly in Ohio and Detroit-Hamtramck in Michigan after December 2019." washingtonpost.com/business/2018/… / Really horrible news.
More from @HenryJGomez here. We both grew up in the area and spent some time working for the paper in Trumbull County, where the Lordstown plant is located. Really bad news if they can't work something out.

It's a one-box Tuesday here at #SCOTUS, meaning one or two decisions in argued cases should be coming at 10a.
The first decision is Justice Kavanaugh's first majority opinion, in Henry Schein, Inc. v Archer & White Sales, Inc., vacating the 5th Circuit in an arbitration case. The decision was unanimous. #SCOTUS

#Michigan prop 2 sounds good on the surface... There are concerns as we dive in.
The stickler for me, these 12 unelected officials, with self identified political affiliations, "independents" in majority... Cant be removed 👇

In my experience, a moderate is a liberal that likes to hunt and an independent is a liberal that is lying to themselves.

I'm concerned with the vagueness of the make up of this group... And it's effective permanence, with zero accountability to voters or politicians alike.
Seeing how we have a 3 term limit (6 years) in the Michigan house and 2 terms in the Michigan senate (8 years)

Perhaps not up ending what is not really a problem is the wiser approach. Yes.

Take Michigan. Trump officially won the state by 10,700 votes. But 75,355 ballots were never counted. Michiganders vote on these ridiculous paper ballots that old machines have a hard time reading. And critically, 87 machines simply broke down and didn't count the votes at all.
And where were these uncounted ballots and broken machines? I found them in #Detroit and #Flint, #Michigan — two majority-Black cities. Do you think those 75,355 ballots in Detroit and Flint were Trump ballots? gregpalast.com/palast-report-…
