Some pics from last night's Spirit Of Ratliff XMAS Spectacular taken by our pal @each1teach1.

@Mikeyerg & I took the stage armed with a handful of our XMAS songs and a table full of cool gifts that very few people seemed to actually want...

Nobody wanted my spare copies of the soundtrack to the wonderful TV series Over The Garden Wall. If you came to this show, you could've had it, easy!

I barely was able to get someone to take my extra John Coltrane LP. These were sealed, brand new records!

One person finally reluctantly took this DVD box set of amazing cult series The Prisoner but it took some convincing

I don't know who ended up w/these vintage Walt Kelly Pogo figurines bc at some point I just started passing them into the audience, hoping someone would keep them

This was our setlist. We premiered two new songs and a version of Vince Guaraldi's "Skating" for which I have written lyrics. 15 minutes in, Mikey quietly pointed out to me that we had done 1/2 of our songs and I needed to do more banter.

At that point, I decided to give out the partial set of U.S. state quarters from the Franklin mint. I tried doing it based on who was from each state but no one from Kentucky came to our show.

I can't believe I didn't take this opportunity to talk about COIN HEIST, the Netflix Original Film where I play the head of the U.S. mint.

I am told that the audience enjoyed the show. I hope so. Mikey & I usually only do one of these per year, and it is hard remembering all the lyrics to these short & fast songs, but it means a lot to us to be able to perform them for people.

Sometimes I sing and you can tell I really am sincere. Look at that face.

This is the kind of photo that indicates that I can sing well and thanks to still photography being a purely silent medium, you cannot prove otherwise.
