Trying to explain “mere reasonableness” to rationalists typically goes something like this…

It’s so hard to set aside the unthought cognitivist assumption that everyday human activity can only be the result of a machine that is a defective approximation to formal rationality.
Any field that seriously investigates what people actually do rediscovers this insight. Ethnomethodology has gone further than others.
