Promotion on almost the lowest budget in League Two & thriving in League One on definitely the lowest budget, a look at #ASFC finances after the club gave us open access to it's finances. Club has matchday income of less than £2m a year which works out at less than £300 per fan.
League 2 clubs are given relative crumbs in terms of broadcasting money, & thanks to the way the 'Big Six' of MUFC MCFC Arsenal LFC CFC & THFC have sneaked through changes to the distribution method, will earn less from 2019
#ASFC earned just over £1/2m from commercial & other income in 2017/18, mainly from sponsorship via owner @AndyhHolt's WhatMore group. This is a way of owner supporting club without pumping it full of debt.

One cunning item not mentioned by the #EPL in changing the distibution of overseas TV rights is the impact on lower league clubs. Previously they've had a % of the equal share but not the merit share of PL TV income. Under proposals some overseas TV income becomes merit (1/2)
This means any increase in overseas rights will result in clubs in Championship, League 1 and League 2 getting nothing and it is all kept by the PL clubs. For a club such as Accrington in L1 a £1bn annual increase in overseas would have meant an extra £473k a year. now it is FA
So when John Henry talks about being unhappy at Liverpool 'subsidising' other clubs, he means that all 20 PL clubs want share a £1,000,000,000 pa increase so likes of Preston, Stanley, Morecambe etc. do not receive anything. After all, £473,000 out of a billion is a lot isn't it?

John Russell Fearn was a prolific pulp writer. Known in the UK for his western and detective novels, he was also the first British writer to really break into the American sci-fi pulp market during the pre-war era.
But after the war Fearn struggled to sell stories to the American sci-fi magazine market (even with the help of Frederik Pohl as an agent) and instead concentrated on the UK. He still wrote science fiction the Toronto Star Weekly, but it didn't pay much.

2-Moslem Brotherhood (MB) lost its original military wing during the battle with the Syrian State in the 80’s. Best to think of Nusra/HTS/al-Qaeda in #Syria today as the new military wing of the M Brotherhood. One is the brain, the other represents arms & legs of the same body
3-The coordination between MB & Nusra/HTS/al-Qaeda has afforded the latter the chance to transform itself from non-state actor that had been hiding in the mountains of Afghanistan to an outfit with clear lines of communications to regional capitals that are supporting the MB

Blackburn Rovers’ financial results for 2016/17 covered “a season to forget for #Rovers fans”, as the club was relegated from the Championship to League One with manager Owen Coyle replaced by Tony Mowbray. The good news is that they have immediately bounced back in 2017/18.
#Rovers loss worsened by £2.3m from £1.5m to £3.8m, mainly due to £7.1m (32%) reduction in revenue to £14.9m and £6.0m fall in profit on player sales to £10.4m, offset by cost cuts: wages £3.4m (13%) to £22.0m, other expenses £4.8m (51%) to £4.5m & player amortisation £1.8m.
Main reason for what #Rovers Finance Director Mike Cheston described as “a significant drop in income” was the loss of parachute payments £10.5m, though the blow was softened by £4.3m solidarity payments. Match day and commercial slightly declined, by £0.2m & £0.1m respectively.
