It is shameful that India has passed laws against the online security and privacy of its citizens. They want to take away our privacy and the only way to battle against that is by using services that we know are protected and can't be breached easily by the government. #FightBack
I will be posting the services and tools that you should be using to fight for your right and stand up against the regime which doesn't care about your online privacy. #FightBack
For email services use"ProtonMail" (protonmail.com) . It is time to make a change from Gmail / Yahoo mail etc. Protonmail is far more secure and it offers the same very same services as other email service providers at the very least. #FightBack
For instant messaging use "Signal" (signal.org). It offers you high security as the messages that you send have end-to-end encryption and is really great as it offers you all the services of Whatsapp & Telegram with the added level of security. #FightBack
To browse the internet use "Firefox" (mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/…) / "Tor" (torproject.org), don't use chrome or browsers based of chromium as they are less secure when compared to these. Use Firefox focus, for mobile users.
For secure file sharing purposes use "SecureDrop" (securedrop.org) or "OnionShare" (onionshare.org) these are really great tools that can be used to share your files and data privately. #FightBack @SecureDrop @torproject
@SecureDrop @torproject Let us keep our internet, safe and secure form the prying eyes of government agencies and private firms. It is high time to start focusing on privacy and security. @MozillaIN @fs0c131y @hacker_eth @bjayesh9 @torproject @troyhunt @ProtonMail
