I’ve said it before and say it again; if I was a woman I’d be angry all of the time.
Honestly, my being angry only 80% of the time is positively fucking luxurious
Seriously, pick a place on earth and odds are women are getting the shit end of the stick there#. Pick a time in human history and women are getting the rawest of raw deals. Then try not caring. Try feeling like everything’s fine. Because it is fucking appalling. Appalling.

“I’m gonna show that I’m not afraid to mock this upsetting thing that most ppl don’t find funny” is not brave. It’s not hilarious because it offends some people. It’s a FORMULA, and an increasingly lazy one.
I don’t spend a lot of time judging the quality of other’s comedy (it mostly just comes off as adolescent & insecure). My taste isn’t the law. People like what they like. What do I care? Some comedy sucks. What do I care?
But there is some comedy that sucks and it’s bad for people imo. Some comedy sucks and it’s bad for comedy imo. And if I yell “Boo!” that is not censorship. It’s just not a laugh. And if you tell jokes that’s the risk you run. No sense crying about it.

As a white, when I hear a statement about whites, before I choose to call it “racism,” I ask myself the following:

Does the statement represent a real history of, or (non-laughable) future potential for:

1. the murder of me or my family
2. the threat of bodily harm

Out Of The Unknown was BBC2's science fiction anthology series: a set of stand alone teleplays mostly based on short stories by famous SF writers. It ran from 1965 to 1971, but almost half the episodes have been lost.

Today in pulp I look back at this 60s sci-fi classic...
Sydney Newman is a legendary figure in British TV drama. He began his career in Canada before moving to the UK in the 1950s to work on ATV’s Armchair Theatre. He was the driving force behind The Avengers, before moving to the BBC in 1962 and launching Doctor Who.
In 1961 Irene Shubik was working with Newman on Armchair Theatre when she pitched him the idea of a spin-off series focussing on science fiction stories. Newman liked it, and Shubik was paired with Avengers director Leonard White to work up the series.

So I like a debate on points a) to c) purely based on #science (and "a consensus of paid lobbyscientists" is not science, but politics) & come up with workable solutions.

#Women have much greater #hormonal fluctuations each month than #men do. Simply put, a woman's thought life and #emotions are more prone to high highs, and low lows. This isn't a "design flaw" but rather how #God made a #woman to be in touch with the needs of small #children.
Nothing is more short-sighted as a #man than viewing a #woman as an "overly emotional" or "flawed" version of a man's thought process or #emotions. A woman that does not let her emotions out will become very #passiveaggressive, #depressed or #angry. Your job is to be an #outlet.
