If you told me that the Democrats were preparing a response to Trump and that I could personally veto any two potential choices for that response, absolutely no question it would be these two. And they went with both? At the same time? The mind reels. 
Good god this is a terrible image. They set up a tiny podium in a fancy hallway and grabbed every flag they could find. It looks so contrived. So phony. The marble corridors just scream "business as usual in Washington."
This image becomes 1000 times better if that hallway is filled with young Democratic legislators standing behind them.
Honestly Pelosi and Schumer should have gone to a D.C. dive bar and streamed their response on Instagram while pounding Old Fashions.
