Me : 120,000 dead through austerity, 14 million in poverty and 130,000 children homeless at Christmas. You think this is a game?
Me : No. Many of my best friends are Tories and I certainly find myself in agreement with many One Nation Tories. I view that neoliberal policies are misguided and it is fair to say that many of New Labour policies were of that form.
Me : I am in favour of more democracy and sustainability (both of resource and people) which means I'm opposed to neoliberalism. In the current climate, my preference is Labour Leave > Labour Remain > Conservative (either).
Me : I made that mistake before. I sincerely regret it. I am unlikely to repeat that error in my lifetime.
Me : The only issue with immigration is a lack of investment in housing, resources and services. Immigration is used to deflect from the real causes mostly by certain sections of the press when they're bored laughing at the poor.
Me : Yes. With the right leadership and political will. Which brings us back to the first point and why this is not a game. If we wish to succeed then we have to unlock the talent of the many and not just the few.
