The most recent atmospheric CO2 reading is over 410 parts per million.

The last time humans experienced 410 ppm was... never. Never. Humans hadn't evolved yet.

 Here's a great graphic showing where carbon emissions come from (top) and where they go. They come from fossil fuels and land use changes (agriculture and deforestation and fires); and they go into the atmosphere and oceans and soil/vegetation. #climate

 Dear Media, to avoid committing media malpractice, if you invite someone on your show to talk about #climate & they say:
"The climate has always changed."

You must immediately say "No, we understand all observed warming is now human caused, overwhelming any natural changes."

You must immediately say:
You're confusing "weather" and "climate." The world as a whole is warming. One cold day in one place doesn't disprove global climate science.

 If they say "The scientists are only in it for the money" you have two choices:

Say either "Scientists get paid far less than fossil fuel lobbyists & climate deniers, & whatever they're paid has no effect on the validity of the science."
Or call me for a "Fuck you" response.

 Variable precipitation & rising temperature are intensifying droughts, increasing heavy downpours, & reducing snowpack.
Reduced snow-to-rain ratios are affecting the timing of both water supply & demand.

This infographic drives me nuts, as it has gone completely viral multiple times and people share it basically uncritically. We need to talk about it.
Firstly, one may argue philosophically whether it makes sense to put the *entirety of a potential human's* emissions on the same dimension as "don't have a car" but let's set that aside and assume it's totally valid. I want to talk about the technical calculation here

The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

Not only are carbon dioxide levels rising each year, they are accelerating. Carbon dioxide is climbing at twice the pace it was 50 years ago. Even the increases are increasing.
In little more than a century of frenzied fossil fuel burning, we humans have altered our planet’s atmosphere at a rate dozens of times faster than natural climate change.

We are fast approaching the extremes of what we know ecosystem can handle.

A reader I just met asked me the right question, after saying some really nice things to me. How do we get non-voters to vote? I have some suggestions in a thread coming.
1. First a brief digression regarding how our country works. I apologize if this is way too simple - I have to think this thru this way.
3. Voters make choices, and based on those choices we get a government. But it's weighted funny.
