John Minford, Sun Tzu 1-6: "Command is wisdom, integrity, compassion, courage, severity."
The Consigliori Comments: If only command could be simply our leader. @realDonaldTrump, completely to the contrary of the constant yammering of our opponents, demonstrates all five traits mightily, and that's a huge part of how we won in 2016.
Consider the enemies Trump chose, instantly winning his eternal place in our hearts, those of us who felt that the enemies he chose were absolutely blame-worthy in destroying the America we loved. He operated by the ancient wisdom that the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Integrity, look at any current rally where you see the phrase, "Promises Made, Promises Kept." His passion to keep his word to us is unprecedented. He has won more for us, against greater opposition than any previous leader in our nation.
Compassion, the love in his heart, that he gives in such copious doses to those in need of it, is a force for good that, again, our opponents do everything they can to hide. Look at his relationship to any Forgotten American and you will see his compassion.
Courage, he has made a bond with his supporters, and faces judgement every waking and sleeping moment. He speaks directly to us via social media, and is criticized for this as well, and welcomes the lying media in spite of the lies he knows they'll write.
Two other points about his courage. The current government shut down is absolutely an act of courage on his part, and one we hope he'll stick to until the wall is funded. And the possibility of pulling out of NATO. No other leader would so much as contemplate it. Clear courage.
Severity, for us, this might be easier as a virtue if it was called stern determination. Yet, Sun Tzu calls for necessary severity in a leader. Examples are General Sherman in the Civil War, and Truman ending WWII. Churchill was very severe by any measure. Trump has iron will.
On this basis, our #MAGA Movement should be expanding, reaching forward, trumpeting the goodness of our cause and gaining new adherents with unstoppable momentum. Sadly, we are not. The recent House loss is only part of the story. Our opponents enjoy greater might than we do.
Why so? We must turn our eyes to the rest of the leaders on our side, from the top down, and draw this clear conclusion. We do not surround our President with leaders strong enough to work his and our will. And the enemy takes out the strongest among them, such as @GenFlynn.
But most important of all, we do have a structure of leadership sharing our President's values and reaching forward and outward to coordinate and organize our action as a movement. Instead of acting, we wait. We must self-organize.
We need a new chain of organization and leadership from the ground up. And, as we self-organize, leaders will emerge, layer by layer. In all cases, as we throw our support to new leadership, we must look for: Wisdom, Integrity, Compassion, Courage and Severity.
This is critical for more than just #MAGAVictory2020, or the current spate of battles. Our war is for America herself, for her destiny forward forever. No matter how much we may achieve during the 8 years of President Trump's administration, the War for America will not be done.
It is this mission, to save America herself, that demands a new model of leadership within our movement. We must ask, "how do we safeguard America forever?" The answer will not be the name of one man. It will entail a new cadre.
Perhaps surprisingly, it may well be that the one virtue from Sun Tzu's list that we need most within our new leadership, for the present and foreseeable future, is the last of them, severity.
