1) We all know this Cohen BuzzFeed story is fake, so why is so much energy going into it on the Right? It's wall to wall coverage.

When do we stop being led by the nose with this stuff? Seems a lot more sensible that we just collectively ignore it & focus on real news. #QAnon

2) There seems to be this irresistible desire to make sure nothing goes unchecked, the "we gotta fight back!" impulse. You end up with thousands upon thousands of low value tweets into echo chambers. #QAnon

3) The only reason fake news exists is to drown out real news.

It's being circulated, pounced on, and takes all the air out of the room, leaving nothing for, perhaps, less sensational news, but actual real news. #QAnon

4) Participating in this feeds the "slide," which is exactly what they want. It's a self own.

Take a moment before you join in on it, consider whether it's helping. There is a TON of real news that would benefit more from our attention than this laser pointer stuff. #QAnon

5) People w/ good intentions can spontaneously & collectively do the right thing like with the ambulance video from France.

Now just imagine the ambulance is a fake news story, and we just collectively move over and let it pass unacknowledged. #QAnon

6) I'm not pointing fingers, because I engage in this behavior also. And the amount of fake news put out there is an outrage, that said, I'm making a personal commitment to ignore more of the fake stuff and focus on the real stuff. #QAnon
