once government is open Trump will hold bi weekly meetings to solve the problem permanently.
That's it. Wall and security and judicial measures for 3 year extension of Daca and TPS. Seems reasonable as a compromise. I doubt the dems go for it.

I have always thought the entire idea of a calorie as a way to measure food consumption and control weight is one of the more crazy ideas to have been thought up. To begin with understand how they measure a calorie in food.
It is measured in two ones. Originally they took a food stuffed it in a sealed container surrounded by water. The food was COMPLETELY burned and the resulting temp increase of the water was measured to extrapolate the energy released.
Since the 90's or so with changes in packing and labeling laws and regulations a somewhat different method is used(Atwater system). Now they break down what Macro nutrients are in the food (fats, carbs, protein, alcohol) in grams

Today, I was thinking, it's weird how certain things that you learn can trigger an entire new thought process.

We are faced with daily propaganda from all sides. Commercial, political, scientific, etc propaganda hammers at us constantly. Yet the vast majority has little effect.
It rolls off us like water rolls off a duck's back. It may change our views on the edges somewhat. Political correctness may change how we communicate our thoughts. But neither propaganda nor political correctness really changes the core of a person.
One would think, with this deluge of propaganda, that we would be nothing but mind numb robots sitting and awaiting the next update of propaganda to tell us how and what to think. In some cases a few are like that. They have become nothing but NPCs to the greater Borg hivemind.

Just a thought as the time for New Year's resolutions approach & millions will go on some type of diet. Instead of a diet, try to eat only real food for a couple months. Cook everything yourself. Eat real fruits & vegetables.Try unsalted nuts. Non-processed food vs fake food.
Drink real fruit juices, eat and drink only grass fed dairy, yogurt and meats. Buy the cage free eggs better yet get them from a local farm. Take some vitamin and mineral supplements since the food today is much lower in vit/min content then they were 50 years ago.
Don't worry about exercise. It will come as you feed your body the real food. The energy it will give you will make you want to move.

About 80% of a supermarket is made up of fake processed food created using corn and soy. Most of the meat is also "created" using corn/soy feed.

Today is #HumanTraffickingAwarenessDay, which I just realized.

Having visited the border & talked to local law enforcement, Customs & Border Patrol, and local citizens along the border beginning in 2014, the human trafficking issue was one that horrified me the most. 1/25
In 2014, had we included too many the issues of modern-day slavery in our Border States of America documentary, people would not have accepted it as real.
It is difficult to believe and accept such problems are happening in America - the land of the free.

Top Myths About #Asylum and why you should care:

Myth: Asylum seekers should file at US consulates in their home countries.

Reality: Asylum can only be sought at the border or inside the US. US consulates do not accept asylum applications.
Myth: Asylum seekers must present themselves at a port of entry.

Reality: The law (8 USC 1158) specifically says a person may apply for asylum whether they enter legally or not.

They can be technically prosecuted for unlawful entry, but that doesn't prevent asylum.
Myth: Asylum is only for political persecution, not for fear of gangs and terrorists.

Reality: There is NO requirement in the law that an asylum seeker's fear be politically based.

I've won many gang and terrorist related cases.

2/ Important context: As head of @TheJusticeDept, the Attorney General has final say over all cases before the administrative #immigration courts. AG may snatch a case away from the Board of Immigration Appeals anytime and decide it himself by directing BIA to refer it to him.
3/ Here is the 2014 BIA holding--upholding precedent from 1989--which the AG was so intent on getting to his own desk. It may not mean much to anyone who had the good sense not to go to law school, but take a shot. (No, really: *take an actual shot* and give it a try.)
