Dr Sparrow @annie_sparrow could have told these TDs how starvation & deprivation of medicines is being used as a weapon by Assad against millions of ordinary Syrians. Women bleed out & die after birth for lack of the most basic medicines

Even though they did not attend JFAC to benefit from expertise & knowledge of @annie_sparrow, these 4 TDs wrote a letter to @IrishTimes impugning integrity of this heroic humanitarian & defending continuing delivery of aid via Damascus despite proof it will be stolen by Assad
Shocking that @IrishTimes published such a scurrilous letter distorting the facts & making an extraordinary attack on a great humanitarian who has exposed the truth about how billions of dollars of stolen UN humanitarian aid has helped pay for bombs that kill Syrian children
