I'm in Zurich today giving a lecture on human rights and Holocaust restitution. Not a subject I have spent loads of time on before and it's really fascinating. A great example of the difficulties when idealistic principles like "right to an effective remedy" hit cold reality
Really enjoyed researching and giving this lecture. Such a complex and difficult tale, with all the drama and imperfections of human political history. Here are few of my slides #HolocaustMemorialDay
