It kind of sounds like the Quadrigga CEO might be faking his own death in India.

Looks like the CEO, who "died of Crohn's in India," even thought of what to do about his Chihuahuas, but didn't have a plan for the exchange's cold wallet. Ok. O_o.
Someone will end up monitoring his wife's communications and travel, to see if she's talking to a mysterious guy in India. Others will analyze the chain to see what's happening to the funds in cold storage.
Of course, there's a chance that he genuinely passed away. In which case, doubting the untimely death in India will retroactively look bad.
Death should be a peaceful, private, and ultimately a solitary event. Owning crypto and possessing other people's coins makes it the exact opposite of that.

So put in a recovery plan, if you own or control other people's coins.
This is interesting: the two other Quadriga founders look like they are fake names, and one them is an anagram for Heroin Lover. Only in crypto-land.

The Quadriga "cold wallets" are about as cold as Gerald Cotton's corpse, which is likely not very cold.
Quadriga previously claimed to have multisig wallets.
Here's how this blockchain thing works: you say something (e.g. "CEO is dead, cold wallet is frozen") and you produce evidence on the chain to back it up (e.g. "here are our cold wallet addresses"). If you're not doing this, then people are justified in assuming that it's a scam.
