1/ I was thinking about how #RealityWinner's plea deal included not being able to appeal her conviction. Then I came this part of an article I was reading. Conservatives ❤ "by the book." SCOTUS needs Constitutional textualism to understand Right vs Wrong.

2/ Now take into consideration Am citizens Constitutional 6th Ammendment Right to a fair trial. Among others,it lists these necessities for a fair trial: Not to bare witness to ourselves and to be heard by unbiased,impartial judge in a reasonable amount of time.

3/ So even if #RealityWinner accepted a plea deal with one of the stipulations being that she cld not appeal, she still should be able to appeal on the grounds that her 6th Ammendment Rights were violated due to not receiving a fair trial.
4/ Reality was never read her Miranda Rights & her answers to the interrogators were used against her. We know that she absolutely did not receive a speedy trial as she sat in jail with no pretrial bond for over a year. #Justice4Reality #freerealitywinner
5/ (Plus Im sure theres more to use when you look into the constant fights for bail, being denied 4x as a nonviolent, first time offender.) And I am sure that someone could prove at least either the magistrate and judge were biased & partial.

But if you wld like to see, theres plenty to find. Not sure where you're looking that you cant find anything, but Ill post where u can start bc im nice.

@TheBeebeBuz @bjwinnerdavis @apwriter Unfortunately, The Intercept, where she sent the doc, flubbed up & is why shes behind bars. They have since internally investigated with their mother company & donated $50k to her defense fund (which went fast when faced with the full weight of the US Govt.)

1/#RealityWinner tried to warn us of RussianHacking.She was denied bail for over a yr before taking responsibility for telling us the truth & changing her plea. Since the day the group of all male, mostly armed FBI agents boxed in her car after a grocery trip, she's been ignored.
2/ Starting w asking those armed men if she was being arrested,she never received an answer, nor read her Miranda Rights & her admission was admissable in court .
While in jail #RealityWinner has been denied medical attention, denied proper nutrition...
3/ ...& even denied her 1/2 hr of sun she's supposed to get everyday. She's had her mail held back bc the gaurds feel overwhelmed when there are too many letters. (Ya know bc they have to open & read them all.) From the court side of things, she's been denied witnesses,

In 2010, J. Stevens asked about Apodaca, and whether some rights could apply differently to federal and state governments. In 2018, RBG asked about Apodaca and non-unanimous jury trials. #SCOTUS
2/ In 2010, Paul Clement said Apodaca was an "outlier." In 2018, Wesley Hottot said Apodaca was "anomalous."
3/ In 2010, J. Ginsburg asked if the Court would have to incorporate the Grand Jury and Jury Trial Clauses. In 2018, J. Alito asks about other rights not incorproated, including the right to a grand jury proceeding.

While #SCOTUS stopped the Ross deposition for now and allowed the deposition of Gore and other discovery to go ahead, Gorsuch, joined by Thomas, would have granted the stay as sought by DOJ — halting both depositions and the extra discovery. buzzfeednews.com/article/chrisg…

Not surprising, but here’s @DavidLat with the four federal appellate judges — two in their spot following a Trump nomination — that Trump interviewed for Kennedy’s seat on #SCOTUS: Barrett, Kavanaugh, Kethledge, Thapar. abovethelaw.com/2018/07/the-fo…
Also: Trump said he could interview 2-3 others. They likely would include Joan Larsen (6th Cir) (if there actually are two women being considered), as well as Thomas Hardiman (3rd Cir) or William Pryor (11th Cir) (both in the running last time) or Sen. Mike Lee.
This makes sense to me and is more or less what I was thinking — but I’d add that bringing people in to keep the base happy is a tried and true part of all of this —>
