If you are trying to add social proof to your ads and have not been granted access to the new beta that allows you to carry over comments, here is the way that I like to do it.

This method works better the more money you spend.
First, create an ad in one ad set and set it to inactive.

This is going to be your base ad and what you will use to create all of the other ads that will accumulate social proof.

Once you have finished go to the right-hand side and click the ad preview dropdown.
Click the option that says "Facebook Post with Comments".

A new tab will open with your ad and a link that looks something like this.

"facebook.com/10000000000010…"

Copy and paste the second long number at the end of the URL.
Then create a new ad in the same ad set but this time select "Use Existing Post" instead of "Create Ad"

Click "Enter Post ID" and paste in the long number that you copied from your post URL.

You should see your ad come up on the right-hand side after doing this.
Now, duplicated this existing post ad into the rest of your ad sets and you are done!

You are using one ad in all of your ad sets, instead of the same ad with different post ids.

The more you spend the faster it will accumulate social proof!
Now, replicate this and use it on each ad variation that you have.

Typically, I will have anywhere from 4-8 existing ads under one ad set depending on the type of spend the account is doing.

Social proof is a must have, especially for ecommerce stores!
