i bought a new mouse with a sniper button on it that drops the mouse DPI by 80% so you can dial in those noscopes, which is funny because - and this isn't what i came here to talk about but - that's absolutely cheating, like playing baseball with a hollow bat. but,
"well anyone else could buy one too" yeah and all the other batters could hollow out their bats, but it's cheating if you don't tell anyone else that you're doing it, because they don't have an opportunity to choose to either do it also or not play against you.
i just think this is wild that these things are just out there and i feel like i've never seen anyone complain about them. but anyway, that's not what i came here to talk about
for me, at least, i think it's really unlikely i'll ever actually use this, because in the clutch my brain is going to just try to do the normal thing that it does all the time, just carefuller, the way i've always done it
it's like if you have a dedicated copy button on one keyboard you use but no other keyboard has that, you aren't going to use it because by the time you've thought to do it your brain has already hit Ctrl+C on autopilot,
my brain is gonna learn only about three things about anything and then try to PWM all other activities into those three things it learned 'cause my brain is simple
i'm lazy as fuck and my brain is also lazy as fuck and neither of us like learning or adapting. i'm a bad animal who will not get Clutch Headshots (also that's my new gamer tag and it's goin on my drivers license as soon as the paperwork goes through)
hey i like bloodhound's ult though, i'm finally learning to use that instead of just play the game like a fuckin animal and i'm getting murders in the smoke clouds
p.s. i don't actually care about the mild cheating that is the sniper DPI button i just think it's funny that i've never seen anyone talk about this. i'd think gamers would be absolutely livid, like turning to vapor over it

also the sniper button seems useful for copying text in shitty web pages. get those tight groupings despite the CSS. ctrl+c
