i just wrapped up a very exciting dox. i have some pages to archive & receipts to assemble.
after so much time wondering who this guy was, it turned out to be just a few hours of actual work to find him, his self published book, and his business.
i mean imagine a pdf copy of your self published biography of james cameron being the thing that led to everyone knowing you are a white nationalist conspiracy theorist! how embarrassing!
i got distracted reading 5 years' worth of his comments on pick up artist blogs and now i'm tired and very grossed out.
i'll introduce you to our friend tomorrow.

good features twitter probably will never give us:
- mute that just keeps that person from appearing in your timeline but still notifies you when they interact
- mute just likes on a conversation but still get notifications on replies
- mute individual tweets in a thread
- mute a certain offshoot of conversation. two people start chatting in the replies on a tweet & i don’t need to be notified, but i still wanna see other replies to my tweet
- filter notifications by type, including QTs
- hide a thread. people should be able to dismiss one of my ongoing threads so it doesn’t keep popping up in their timeline over a period of hours.
- snooze a person (FB allows this - sometimes you just need a break from somebody’s content)

gab user ‘whiteboner’ is a racist, sexist, transphobic, homophobic, anti-semitic white supremacist who for the past year and a half has focused almost exclusively on trying to ‘prove’ james fields did not kill heather heyer.
whiteboner posts videos on youtube on a channel called “alt right truth.” and the truth is, this youtube account would be a big part of his undoing.
on his youtube channel, he’s posted nearly 40 videos arguing that the vehicular attack that killed heather heyer & injured dozens of others was “an accident.” he uses footage of the attack and crude animated recreations (these will be important later)

i thought maybe we should marie kondo this heap of raggedy old plush toys but then i remembered that the other day they found some french fries spilled in a parking lot and ate them so greedily that one of them also ate a rock. they’re dogs. everything sparks joy.

#Khashoggi Case Thread: I am going to ‘pin’ this post to use it as an ‘Info Thread’ on the #Khashoggi Case. I am in #Turkey. I’ve been following the case closely and with access to sources & experts here. This is a very ‘sensitive’ criminal case due to ‘Diplomatic Booby Traps’!!!
The Evidence Obtained Outside Cameras will not show any evidence of ‘tempering’ but other than license plates of dozens of diplomatic cars (Many with tinted windows-large trunks) with related time stamp, drivers Info, model/year: Nothing.
#Turkish Intel-Investigative Bodies also have the list of all Diplomatic & Private Saudi & “other significant’ Planes in #Turkey for the period of ‘interest.’ Many of the Target airports have their own security cameras & related evidence.

Before I lose the idea. R76 and wax museum challenge.
I'm thinking Jack as a journalist, challenged to do the "one night in a wax museum" thing. (Since he lost a bet in his journalist company).

His boss wants a segment of his experience or something so Jack takes a vid camera, sleeping bag, notebooks and some necessities
His bet requires him to set up in the 'murderers' section for maximum fear factor and what not. Jack admits he's a little scared cause everything looks so real.

One of the statues is a guy called Gabriel Reyes. The story was that he murdered people around the city.

Things that surprised/amazed me about Japan, an ongoing thread.

It’s my first time here. Please comment away and/or point out my cultural insensitivities!
1. A very friendly immigration officer and I laughed together, and when I said “I don’t really know where I’ll be staying,” he actually applauded it.
2. Very nice and clean train from the airport, with power sockets, and vending machines onboard.

Tons of solar panels passed by on the way.
