I'll never forgive the press for obsessing over Hillary's "optics" when her opponent spent his adult life laundering money, assaulting women and walking into girls' dressing rooms. I guess those optics were ok?
And it's only going to get worse in 2020. They're going to normalize all of this to sell a horse race. The treason, the kidnapped children, the daily assault on democracy and the truth... they're going to make it all comparable to normal politician behavior by the Dem.
We're stuck in a Mark Burnett production. The press will create a reality with two flawed characters. They'll manufacture suspense. They'll ignore voter suppression and anything else that doesn't fit the narrative of two candidates controlling their fates.
And if that all happens to benefit Trump and other rich white men, well, what's new?
