Great find by Rosie!
In 2017, FBI personnel were running FISA Queries on other FBI personnel?
Claiming they were doing so for work-related purposes such as 'case load management" this is setting off my alarm bells!
Why would you do a FISA Query on a co-worker?
Several reasons come to mind, finding out what cases people you don't trust are working on. So if you are part of the small group of conspirators, you can watch out for those who might catch you.
You might also be able to identify their informants & interagency contacts!
I've long theorized that the reason Mueller, Comey & Wray formed a career suicide pact in 2004 to try & shut down the warrantless Terrorist Surveillance Program. I have suspected they were motivated to stop FISA searches conducted to thwart investigations into the Swamp.
Imagine what information you would find on another FBI agent who is working a sensitive case like Ghost Stories, Awan, Manafort or Mid Year Exam or maybe the handler for Felix Sater or another FBI informant.
I suspect there is a much bigger story than some FBI leader conducting FISA searches to see what kind of case load another FBI employee has assigned to them.
You could also use that FISA Query information to blackmail or control an agent for having an affair, leaking to the media, & lots of other dirt you might find...
