American military actions around the world require careful scrutiny, even if it's painful: for a survivor of military action like Ilhan to be sensitive to this is expected and admirable. Whether this signals a "lurch" is unclear though GOP will try to take advantage.

much of what P. Wehner has to say these days, but a tweet like this reminds one -- with regret -- how he (reportedly) once dealt with American military issues. Given a choice, I prefer Ilhan:
