Can you guys help me with this? I want to put what I see as the 4 main pathways to modern book publishing on a 2x2, but I can't figure out the axes. "Experts for hire" refers to hiring editors, marketers, distributors, and/or ghostwriters out of pocket 
Y axis could be "you pay" at the top and "someone pays you" at the bottom, but that doesn't feel rigorous enough. X axis could be "Low control" on the left" and "high control" on the right, but that's not quite right since you don't really lose control with hired experts
I could put "external validation" at the bottom and "internal validation" at the top, since bottom options require someone (either an exec publisher or tons of ppl) to believe in the project. But if a super successful blogger self-publishes it also already has external validation
Also thought about "professionals" on the left and "non-professionals" on the right, but that doesn't really seem to add any insight. I'd like axes that provide insight on which one a person should pursue based on their motivations/goals
